1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using AIMS (on the web at aimscoach.com or in the Android app), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use AIMS.
2. Who we are
AIMS (Aims Integrated Monitoring System) is operated by Ronnie Van Technologies Ltd (trading as Ronnie Technologies), a company registered in Nigeria. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Ronnie Van Technologies Ltd.
3. Not medical advice
AIMS provides calorie, macro and fitness estimates generated by AI. These are estimates, shown as ranges, not exact figures, and they are not medical, dietary or health advice. Always consult a qualified professional for medical or nutritional guidance, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating.
4. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to legally agree to these terms.
AIMS emails. When you create an AIMS account, you agree that we can send AIMS emails to the email address on your account: tips and guides from the AIMS blog, product updates and new features, and AIMS news and offers. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can also turn them off at any time by signing in on our website (aimscoach.com) and switching off AIMS emails. Unsubscribing doesn't affect your account. We'll still send emails you need to use AIMS, such as sign-in, security, payment and account messages.
5. Your data
The information you log belongs to you. You can export it from Personal → Export Data and delete your account at any time from Personal → Delete account. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Premium subscription
AIMS is free to use with daily limits. Every new account gets a free 7-day Premium trial with no card needed; when it ends, the account moves to the free plan automatically and nothing is charged. AIMS Premium is an optional subscription that you can pay for monthly or yearly (the yearly plan is 12 months at a 20% discount). Payments on the website are processed in US dollars by our payment providers (Bachs, or Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record for those payments). In the Android app from Google Play, payments are processed by Google Play under its terms, in your local currency. Prices are shown before any taxes that may apply in your country. The current price is shown in the app before you pay. Premium renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel; cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for. You can cancel a website subscription from Manage subscription in the app or by emailing us, and deleting your account also cancels it. A subscription bought through Google Play is cancelled in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions); deleting your AIMS account does not cancel it there. We may change the free plan, its daily limits, features and Premium prices from time to time; a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it affects a subscription you pay for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
7. Coaches
A user can turn on Coach mode and give clients a code or QR code. Clients choose whether to connect and can leave at any time. Coaches must use what clients share only to coach those clients, must not copy it or share it with anyone else, and are independent of Ronnie Van Technologies Ltd: we are not responsible for a coach's advice. For clients on Premium, coaches can set targets, a workout split, a feeding timetable and food recommendations; these are a coach's guidance, not medical advice. Food plans made by AIMS are general guidance too: AIMS avoids the allergies and foods you list, but it can make mistakes, so always check ingredients if you have an allergy. Coach referral payments, if offered, will be set out in separate terms before they start.
8. Acceptable use
Don't misuse AIMS: don't attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, access other people's data, use it for anything unlawful, or submit content you don't have the right to share. In coach chat, don't send sexual or explicit images or messages, nudity, harassment, threats, spam or scams, and don't ask anyone to send them. Progress photos in gym wear or swimwear are fine. You can report a coach or client from the Report button in the chat; the AIMS team reviews the last 50 messages of that chat and may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
9. No guarantees
AIMS is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted or perfectly accurate. AI-generated estimates can be wrong.
Food data. Calorie and nutrient values in AIMS are estimates. They draw on USDA FoodData Central (U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, public domain), on McCance and Widdowson's Composition of Foods Integrated Dataset (Public Health England / Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, © Crown copyright, used under the Open Government Licence v3.0), and on AIMS's own estimates for West African dishes. These organisations do not endorse AIMS.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ronnie Van Technologies Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of AIMS.
11. Ending use
You can stop using AIMS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as AIMS evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
