Delete your AIMS account

Delete it yourself, straight away

  1. Open AIMS (the Android app or aimscoach.com/app) and sign in.
  2. Go to Personal → Account → Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted immediately, and a Premium subscription bought on our website is cancelled. A subscription bought through Google Play is not cancelled by deleting your account: cancel it in the Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Can't sign in, or don't have the app any more? Send us the email address you use for AIMS and we'll delete your account and data within 30 days. We'll email you to confirm before and after.

You can also email support.aimshq@gmail.com from the address on your account.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

You can delete parts of your data yourself at any time, without deleting your account:

  • A food or workout entry: tap it on Home or in the Health tab, then tap Delete.
  • A weight entry: open Health → Weight, tap the entry, then tap Delete.
  • Your Chatbox conversation and the photos in it: in the Chatbox, tap Clear chat and confirm.
  • Your allergies and food needs: Personal → Allergies & food needs, then clear them and save.
  • Everything your coach can see: Personal → Coach → Leave this coach. Access stops straight away.

Deleted items are removed from our database straight away. If you want us to delete something else for you, email support.aimshq@gmail.com from the address on your account and we'll do it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, goals, targets, allergies and food needs, and food plan.
  • Your food, workout, weight and step history.
  • Your Chatbox conversations and the photos you sent.
  • Your coach connections and the messages, voice notes and photos in coach chats.
  • Your saved food corrections.

What we keep, and for how long

Records of payments (amount, date and payment reference) are kept for up to 6 years where tax and accounting law requires it. They don't include your food or health data. If you reported a coach or client, or were reported, that report and the copy of the chat saved with it are kept for up to 12 months so we can act on it, or longer if needed for safety or legal reasons. Anonymous, aggregated usage figures that can't identify you may also be kept. Everything else is deleted.
